Answer three questions and we’ll suggest a short list.
On Etsy, every toy comes from an independent shop that lists and ships it. You’ll find handmade wooden toys, plush, personalized puzzles, dress-up clothes, and vintage pieces.
It works well for one-of-a-kind or personalized gifts and for buying from small makers. It’s less handy when you need a specific mass-market toy quickly, since processing times vary by shop.
A few things to read first: the shop’s return policy, processing time, and reviews. For kids under 3, check the stated age grade and small parts, and message the seller if the listing leaves out age or safety details.

The seller does. Each shop sets its own return and refund policy, and Etsy asks buyers to read those shop policies before ordering.
To return an item or report a problem, contact the seller first through Help with Order in your Purchases and Reviews.
You may be covered. When we checked in October 2026, Etsy’s Purchase Protection Program could refund buyers for orders that never arrive, arrive damaged, or don’t match the listing description.
If the seller hasn’t sorted it out within 48 hours, you can open a case with Etsy.
Etsy’s Children and Baby Products Policy bars items for kids under 3 that have loose small parts or small balls, as well as teething items with small parts.
It also bans water beads and loose, small high-powered magnets, including magnetic building sets.
No. Etsy’s policy says it can’t advise sellers on how to comply with the law, and each seller must follow the rules for the markets it serves.
For young kids, look for age and safety details in the listing and ask the seller about anything that’s missing.
