Tonies

A child sets a small character figure, called a Tonie, on top of a soft audio player, and the Toniebox starts playing stories, songs, or games with no screen involved. The Tonies library covers Disney, Bluey, PAW Patrol, Sesame Street, and many more.

Toddlers and preschoolers get to run their own listening time. Tonies designs Toniebox 2 and Toniebox Lite for kids aged 1 through 12 and beyond, and it groups Tonies by age from 1–2 up to 7–8.

We’d start by comparing Toniebox Lite ($79.99 starter set) with Toniebox 2 ($129.99 alone or $149.99 as a starter set) on the US store. Then check each Tonie’s age grade, and note that some Toniebox 2 features are limited in its 1+ mode.

What ages is the Toniebox designed for?

Ages 1 through 12 and beyond, Tonies says, for both Toniebox 2 and Toniebox Lite. For safety reasons, some Toniebox 2 features are limited in 1+ mode.

What is the Tonies return policy?

It depends on what you bought. When we checked in October 2026, Tonies and accessories bought on us.tonies.com could be returned within 30 days if unopened and unused. Yes, on orders over $45, according to the Tonies US store when we checked in October 2026.

Where can I buy Tonies in the US?
