KiwiCo

Rainy afternoons are where KiwiCo’s subscription crates come in, each built around a hands-on project kids make at home. Lines run from Panda Crate for babies to Tinker, Eureka, and Maker crates for older kids, teens, and adults.

Families who want a steady stream of build-and-make projects, without planning each one, tend to like it. Koala Crate covers ages 3–6, and kids drawn to engineering, crafts, or geography get their own lines as they grow.

We’d confirm the line’s age range, the payment plan, and the renewal date before subscribing. Prepaid plans can’t be canceled mid-term, and subscription crates can’t be returned, though unused single crates from the KiwiCo store can.

Which KiwiCo line fits my child’s age?

It depends on the line. When we checked in October 2026, KiwiCo listed Panda Crate for 0–36 months, Koala Crate for ages 3–6, Tinker Crate for ages 9–12, and Maker and Eureka crates for ages 12 and up.

Check the maker’s age and safety guidance for each crate.

How do I cancel a KiwiCo subscription?

From the Subscriptions page in your account. To avoid the next charge, cancel by 11:59 PM EST the day before your renewal date.

Quarterly, annual, and pay-as-you-go plans can’t be canceled mid-term, though you can turn off auto-renewal.

How much does a KiwiCo subscription cost?

From $24 a month for most lines, according to KiwiCo’s help center when we checked in October 2026. Panda Crate costs $42 per crate every 2 months.

Shipping is free to US addresses.

Can I return a KiwiCo crate?

Single crates from the KiwiCo store can, within 60 days, if they’re unused and undamaged, and you pay return shipping.

Subscription crates and crates bought with a bulk discount can’t be returned.
