Radio Flyer

Young riders can start with the little red wagon, which Radio Flyer has made since its founding in 1917. Today the line also covers stroller wagons, push and classic tricycles, ride-ons, kids’ bikes, scooters, and spring horses.

It’s a natural fit for toddlers getting a first set of wheels, and for parents who want a wagon or stroller wagon for outings. Most kids’ items are rated for ages 1–5, while go-karts and bigger bikes run older.

Three things to settle first: the age rating, the assembled size, and whether a large package surcharge applies. Returns must be new, unassembled, and in original packaging within 45 days, and personalized nameplates are final sale.

What ages are Radio Flyer trikes and ride-ons for?

It varies by model. When we checked in October 2026, product descriptions on the US store listed ranges such as ages 1–3 for ride-ons, 1–5 for push trikes, and 3–8 for a go-kart.

Check the maker’s age and safety guidance on the specific model.

What is Radio Flyer’s return policy?

45 days from delivery, for toys and other finished goods that are new, unassembled, and in original packaging, with pre-approval from Customer Service.

Shipping charges and any large package surcharge are not refunded.

Is shipping free on Radio Flyer orders?

Yes, on orders of $49 or more before taxes, when we checked in October 2026. Below that, it was a $9.99 flat rate.

Some oversized items carry a large package surcharge, and orders to Alaska and Hawaii don’t qualify.

Can I return a personalized Build-A-Wagon?

Only if there’s a product defect. Wagons and scooters with personalized names can’t otherwise be returned or exchanged.

Personalized nameplates are final sale.
