Our verdict

The eEXM-40 Iglight 01 is Bandai's 2025 entry model for the 30 Minutes Missions line, a 1/144 snap-fit robot that replaces the Alto as the series flagship. Bandai says the parts and joints were simplified for faster building, and it is the first 30MM kit with touch gates, so parts come off the runner without nippers. Two small RoyRoy support mechs come in the box and convert into weapons. USA Gundam Store had it for $14.99, and Bandai's Japan label says ages 8 and up.

Owner feedback is thin so far. One Gundam Planet reviewer singled out the new rotating 3mm ports on the arms, which let a shield swing into position for posing. Bandai describes the same joint as turning about 180 degrees.

It suits a child or teen who wants a quick robot build and plans to add parts from other 30MM kits later. Skip it if you want a large display piece or a detailed Gundam; this is a small, plain mass-production robot that is meant to be customized.

Positive
The rotating 3mm holes on the arms are the highlight for this owner, since they let a shield turn into the right position for posing.
