Our verdict

This 30 Minutes Preference kit builds Rei Ayanami from the Rebuild of Evangelion films in her plug suit, which Bandai molds with a glossy finish. It includes two tampo-printed faces, one blank face with waterslide decals for other expressions, swap parts for a seated pose, the Spear of Longinus, an S-DAT player and Gendo's glasses. Bandai rates it 15+, and USA Gundam Store listed it at $51.99, giving the height as about 15 cm.

We found only two short owner reviews on USA Gundam Store, both five stars and both about shipping or general praise, so we have no owner detail on the build yet.

It suits an Evangelion fan who already builds character kits and wants Rei for a shelf. Skip it if you have not applied waterslide decals before and want every face ready to go, or if you want a lower-cost first character kit.
