Our verdict

Entry Grade Wing Gundam is Bandai’s beginner-level Gunpla kit in 1/144 scale. Bandai’s official page rates it for ages 8 and up (a Japan label) and says no stickers are needed and the parts come off the runners by hand, so no nippers are required. It comes with a buster rifle and a shield. USA Gundam Store had it for $11.99 on Oct 6, 2026, down from $12.99.

It has five reviews on USA Gundam Store, all five stars. Buyers say the build is quick, every part fit, and it looks close to a High Grade kit. We found no complaints, though five reviews is a small sample.

It suits an 8- to 12-year-old who likes robots and wants a first model kit, or a quick stocking stuffer. Skip it for a kid who wants more detail; a High Grade kit is the next step.
