Best for and who should skip it
Best for
- Collectors building the Devastator combiner
- G1 fans who want Grimlock, Soundwave and Hot Rod
- Kids 8 and up who like to pose small figures
Skip it if
- You expect the Soundwave with Ravage from the box art
- You need one particular chase version
- The child is under 8, the age Blokees lists
What we like and what to keep in mind
What we like
- Three of the six Devastator vehicles in one set
- Blokees says a set box has 12 different characters
- Translucent Shockwave, which owners point out
Keep in mind
- Soundwave with Ravage is a chase, not a set item
- Rare versions are random, so duplicates of regulars build up
- Single boxes are not sold on Blokees US store
How we reviewed it
What owners say.
- 1 positive
- 2 mixed
Paraphrased from public owner reviews. Each one links to where it was posted.
Felt the whole set listing should have said it would not include the Soundwave with Ravage shown in the promotional art.
Got the Galaxy Soundwave and especially likes the translucent Shockwave.
Enjoyed the build but wishes the rare figures were easier to get without buying the regular ones several times over.
