What we like and what to keep in mind
What we like
- Grimlock comes in both robot and dino form
- IDW-style Optimus Prime in the lineup
- Stand, weapon and card in every box
Keep in mind
- One owner got four Starscreams from single boxes
- Owners say early-wave joints take more force to build
- The chase Grimlock is listed at 1 in 36
How we reviewed it
What owners say.
- 2 positive
- 1 mixed
Paraphrased from public owner reviews. Each one links to where it was posted.
Says the set is almost worth it for the small T. rex Grimlock alone, and calls the kits simple to build and good for both play and display.
Loves the sets but got a lot of doubles, including four Starscreams, and feels the ratio seems off.
Bought the whole set for Starscream. Notes slight finger ache because the older sets do not have pre-connected joints, but enjoys clicking them together.
