Our verdict

Throw Throw Burrito is a party card game from Exploding Kittens for 2 to 6 players, ages 7 and up, with games of about 15 minutes. Players pass cards to collect three of a kind for points. Some matches are Burrito cards, which trigger a battle: players grab the two squishy foam burritos and throw them, and anyone hit takes a Burrito Bruise token. In a duel, two players stand back to back, walk three paces and throw. The box holds 120 game cards, 2 foam burritos and 7 tokens. The Exploding Kittens store had the English edition at $19.99 on October 7, 2026, marked down from $24.99.

The store shows 189 reviews averaging 4.8, with 157 five-star and 2 one-star. A large share of them are from February 2023, and at least one says the game came through a Tryazon game-night event, so we read the later ones closely too. Parents describe kids from about 5 to 9 begging to play and say the burritos are soft. The repeated cautions: you need space and should move breakables, one owner says the cards crease easily and suggests sleeves, a parent reports a burrito cracking from rough play, and one player says the two-player rules let one person hog the battle cards.

It suits families and groups of three or more with a clear room and kids who enjoy a bit of rough-and-tumble. Skip it if siblings already fight over thrown objects, or if you mostly play as a pair.
