Our verdict

This is Hot Toys' 1/6 scale Darth Sidious from Revenge of the Sith, sold in the US by Sideshow. It stands about 11.4 inches tall with over 30 points of articulation, a new head sculpt with rolling eyeballs, a tailored robe and tunic, and 9 interchangeable hands, two of them with Force lightning effects. The lightsaber hilt lights up by USB power, and the USB cable is not included.

We found no owner reviews we could cite. Sideshow's page has no customer reviews section, and the other US listings we checked had specs and prices but no owner comments. Our notes come from Sideshow's listing and photos.

It suits adult Star Wars collectors who already display sixth scale figures and want the Sith side of the Revenge of the Sith cast. Skip it if you want a figure for play, if you don't have a spare USB cable for the light, or if about $276 is more than you want to spend on one figure.
