Our verdict

D-Style Shield Liger is Kotobukiya's cute, short-proportioned take on the lion mech from Zoids: Chaotic Century, 130 mm long. Joints let it sit or run, the twin beam cannon on its back pops up without swapping parts, and the missile pods swap between open and stowed. This version adds clear, colorless cockpit parts as a bonus, and an unpainted Van Flyheight pilot figure is included. Kotobukiya US listed it at $24.99 and rates it 15 and up.
