MAGNA-TILES Builder 32 Piece Set 21632

The Builder set is a construction-themed Magna-Tiles box: 6 road squares, 4 road quarter circles, 10 squares, 8 rectangles (4 printed as bricks and 4 as caution stripes), a spinner, a wheeled chassis and two extendable magnetic cranes that swivel. Magna-Tiles says the road tiles also work with many toy cars, and every piece fits other Magna-Tiles sets. The maker lists a suggested age of 3 to 99 years and sells it for $49.99.

The Magna-Tiles product page loads its reviews through a script we could not read, so we have no owner feedback to report for this set. What we can say from the listing: 32 pieces is a small set on its own, and most of the play value comes from the cranes, chassis and road tiles, which make more sense next to a larger box of plain tiles.

It suits a vehicle-loving child who already has Magna-Tiles, or a family adding a theme to a shared collection. Skip it as a first and only set if you want tall towers and big structures, since it has only 18 plain building tiles.
