The Flyer 20" Kids’ Bike has an aluminum frame, a 7-speed Shimano shifter and derailleur, front and rear hand brakes, 20-inch tires and an adjustable padded seat. Radio Flyer recommends it for ages 6 to 8, or riders 45 to 52 inches tall, and sells it in blue and gray. On Oct 6, 2026 it was $199.99 on radioflyer.com, down from $299.99.

Owner reviews on Radio Flyer’s site are few and all positive once you leave out the ones from people who got the bike free. Parents say it feels well built, arrived quickly and is now the family’s favorite for longer and hillier rides. Some kids are a little short for it at first.

It suits a 6- to 8-year-old ready to move from a single-speed bike to gears and hand brakes. Skip it if your child is under 45 inches tall; check height, not just age.
