Our verdict

Yolopark's AMK Series Rhinox is the Maximal from Transformers: Rise of the Beasts as a 20 cm robot-mode figure. It comes as 17 pre-assembled parts plus 15 spares that click together, with about 25 points of articulation and fingers that move. Rhinox brings his hammer and a pair of hands, and the box also includes Optimus Prime's movie weapons: an Energon axe, two Energon swords and two ion blasters. Yolopark lists it for ages 8 and up, the youngest rating in its AMK range, and its US store listed it at $29.99.

We read 10 of the 21 owner reviews on Yolopark's store; most are short five-star notes. Owners say it arrived in good condition, was easy to assemble and looks like the film. One mentions a few stiff joints, and another gave four stars without detail.

It suits an older child or adult who liked the movie and wants a quick build. Skip it if you want a figure that turns into a rhino.
