Blokees Transformers Action Edition 05 Tarn (Comic Version)

Action Edition 05 is a 333-piece snap-fit kit of Tarn, leader of the Decepticon Justice Division from the IDW comics, listed at $39.99 for ages 14+. Blokees gives it 64 points of articulation and a height of about 7.80 inches, which makes it the tallest kit in this group. The box adds a small articulated Nickel figure, swap faces and faceplates including battle damage, and two fusion cannons that join into one long cannon. A magnet triggers a breathing light that Blokees says runs for 10 seconds.

We read 38 owner reviews on Blokees' store; 28 give five stars and 3 give one or two. Owners praise the comic accuracy and the ratchet stand. Several say Tarn is harder to pose than other Action Edition kits, and one warns that a hip joint must be pushed fully together or the peg can stress and snap. A TFW2005 review found the fingers assembled backward from the sprue and the waist turns only about 30 degrees.

It suits IDW and More Than Meets the Eye readers who want a big display piece with a companion figure. Skip it if you want the most posable kit in the line; the Transformers One and Prime Optimus kits move more freely.

Tarn suits a collector who specifically wants the comic design and twin-cannon display. Confirm Action Edition 05 and Comic Version on the seller page; a similar character name elsewhere in the range is not the same kit. The researched listing describes 333 pieces, so set aside time for assembly and room for the finished weapons and stand.

More articulation does not remove the posing limitations reported by owners. Choose it for a deliberate display project rather than frequent rough handling. Follow the packaging age and the assembly order, and keep the alternate parts together. The purchase button goes to the corresponding Tarn listing for current price and stock.
