Blokees Transformers Shining Version 01 Shining Roll Out

Shining Version 01 Shining Roll Out is the first of Blokees' light-up Transformers blind boxes. Each $12.99 box holds one of six kits: Optimus Prime, Jazz, Ratchet, Cliffjumper, Acid Storm or Megatron. Most have glowing eyes and chests, and Blokees describes UV-reactive parts. Blokees lists Megatron at 5 in 36, the others at 6 in 36, and a metallic Megatron chase at 1 in 36. Each box adds a stand, an Energon cube, a card and instructions.

We read 12 owner reviews on Blokees' store: 10 give five stars and 2 give four. Owners like the light-up feature, that the parts glow under a blue light, and the detail for the price. Nobody we read reports a part problem, though the sample is small.

Compared with Galaxy Version 01, you pay $4 more per box for the light features and get a six-kit lineup instead of nine, so completing it takes fewer boxes. Single boxes are random; the $77.90 whole set covers all six with no repeats, according to Blokees, though the chase may not be inside.
