Blokees Transformers Galaxy Version 01 Roll Out

Galaxy Version 01 Roll Out is the first wave of Blokees' small snap-fit Transformers blind boxes. One box costs $8.99 and holds one random kit from a nine-bot Generation 1 lineup: Optimus Prime, Ironhide, Ratchet, Jazz, Prowl, Bluestreak, Megatron, Thundercracker and Skywarp. Blokees lists Optimus at 1 in 12, the others at 1 in 9, and a special-paint Optimus chase at 1 in 36. Each box adds a weapon or hand part, a display stand, instructions and a collector's card.

We read 55 owner reviews on Blokees' own store: 45 give five stars, 9 give four and 1 gives three. Owners like the G1 looks, the posing and the short, simple build, and several note that the figures do not transform. The complaints are about the format: repeats from single boxes, one buyer who ordered ten singles expecting a sealed case, and two reports of a missing part.

It suits G1 fans 10 and up who want a low-cost first Blokees kit. A single box is a random draw, so expect repeats if you buy several. Blokees says the $80.90 whole set has nine different kits; it may or may not include the chase. Skip it if you want a figure that converts to a vehicle.
