Our verdict

The Number Train is a 23-piece DUPLO push-along train for ages 1½ and up. LEGO says it carries 10 number bricks that toddlers can load, unload, stack, line up in order or build into a number wall. It has moving wheels, an opening roof, and boy, girl and dog figures. LEGO gives the length as over 18.5 in. (47 cm), and a poster-playmat shows how the pieces fit together.

We found no owner reviews to report. Brickset lists 24 member ratings but no written reviews, and LEGO.com reviews sit on the product page, which we could not open. This version dates from June 2021 and LEGO still sells it, so it has been around for years, but we cannot pass on what owners say about durability or play value.

It suits a toddler who likes pushing things across the floor and a parent who wants to name numbers and colors during play. Skip it if your child already counts past 10 with ease, or if you want a train that runs on track or by itself.
