What we like and what to keep in mind
What we like
- Hamster head twists and tilts for sitting or crawling poses
- Rock pieces make the fur look fluffy and the cheeks look stuffed
- 3 builds for $9.99: hamster, hedgehog and eagle
Keep in mind
- Brickset says the eagle and hedgehog use under half the parts
- Only one model can be built at a time
- The hedgehog is the weakest build, per Brickset's review
How we reviewed it
What owners say.
- 1 positive
- 1 mixed
Paraphrased from public owner reviews. Each one links to where it was posted.
Brickset's reviewer calls the hamster a lovely model, with a neck that twists and tilts for poses on all fours or sitting up, and cheeks that look stuffed with food. They see the set as excellent value at a pocket money price.
The same reviewer likes the eagle given how few pieces it uses, but notes the two alternate builds use less than half the parts and calls the hedgehog the weakest of the three, though still not bad.
