What we like and what to keep in mind
What we like
- Lavender in a new blue violet color that reviewers say looks close to the real plant
- A full bunch of 8 stems rather than one or two flowers
- A ladybug on one lavender stem, with a spare in the box
Keep in mind
- No vase is included, and reviewers say it needs a small one
- Brickset's review finds the daisy stems thick and clumsy-looking
- The instruction book has no facts about the flowers, per Jay's Brick Blog
How we reviewed it
What owners say.
- 2 positive
- 1 mixed
Paraphrased from public owner reviews. Each one links to where it was posted.
A Brickset member expected little from 133 pieces but liked the lavender parts, the lifelike printed daisy centers and finding 2 ladybugs. They note it is a quick build and needs a very small vase, and say the payoff comes once the stems are arranged.
Brickset's reviewer calls it a beautiful, very realistic small bouquet and likes the new blue violet lavender, but finds the daisy stems a bit thick and clumsy-looking. LEGO supplied the set for review.
This reviewer finds it a simple build with a printed center tile that feels like cheating for Botanicals, and the small daisies a little awkward. They still see it as an easy, low-cost introduction to the theme, as long as you have a glass to put it in.
