Our verdict

Liann’s Family House is a 946-piece LEGO Friends set for ages 7 and up, listed at $69.99. It builds an open-backed house with a kitchen, living area, bedroom, balcony and garden, plus a skate ramp, four minidolls, a pet gecko and an axolotl, and lots of food and hobby accessories.

Brickset’s reviewer liked the colors of the exterior, the small details and the food pieces, and called it decent value for a Friends house. On Brickset it averages 4.2 from 6 member ratings; we found no written owner reviews yet. The skate ramp is bright next to the muted house, which some buyers may not love.

It suits a 7- or 8-year-old who likes dollhouse play and can follow a longer build over a few sessions. Skip it if your child prefers vehicles or quick builds.
